ENSEMBLES

Musicians in the three resident instrumental ensembles Lone Star Brass, Permian Basin String Quartet and West Texas Winds perform with the West Texas Symphony as principal musicians. Their ensemble performances and services include two annual recitals, educational concerts, lunch time concerts, performances at churches, special events and private parties. As part of our Music Education program the ensembles provide in-school performances for MISD and ECISD elementary students in their classrooms.
